Consumers have a right of withdrawal subject to the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity:

A. Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal – You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last good.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (HSD GmbH, An der Eisenbahn 7, 01099 Dresden, Tel.: 0351 8489542, Fax: 0351 81065987, E-Mail: hsd@hsdweb.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online under “Withdraw from contract“. If you use this online feature, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g., via email) containing information on the content of the notice of withdrawal as well as the date and time of its receipt.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods that, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned to us by post (freight-forwarded goods), the direct costs of return are estimated at a maximum of approximately €100–€150 per item.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if that loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of the conclusion of the contract, do not belong to a Member State of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address are located outside the European Union at the time of the conclusion of the contract.

General information

1) Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging.

2) Please do not return the goods to us with postage unpaid.

3) Please note that the aforementioned points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
